Ambit Energy Electricity Service
Ambit Energy is a remarkable electricity company in that they have fast become one of the largest electricity companies in the deregulated state of Texas. Ambit was able to achieve very fast growth by implementing a low risk marketing plan that involves a direct sales force of people throughout Texas, New York, and Georgia. Unfortunately early on in Ambit Energy's success they were sued by a competing electricity company that alleged Ambit Energy and their senior exceutives stole their compensation plan and sales associates. This lawsuit was brought on by an electricity company called Ignite Energy. Ambit Energy continued on unphased and continues to grow and become one of the largest residential electricity and natural gas companies in Texas and hopefully soon to be one of the largest in New York and Georgia.
Ambit Energy sells natural gas service in Georgia although they do not sell electricity service in this state. Ambit does not sell natural gas service in Texas because Texas has not really deregulated the natural gas market for all practical purposes. Ambit focuses on selling electricity to residential electric customers although they also serve small commercial electricity service customers in Texas as well. In order to save even more money with Ambit Energy you can sign up as a sales associate and sign up for your own electricity service. You will make sales commission on your own electricity service which mimics a co-op to some extent since in a co-op people get reimbursed with a dividend at the end of the year.
Some people choose to join Ambit Energy simply to save money on their electricity bill while others join Ambit so they can build a direct sales force and hopefully build a succesfull business. You can build a business with Ambit Energy by talking about it with friends and family. When friends and family join the business and sign up for Ambit electricity service the Ambit business owner makes residual commissions on the electric customers in their downline.
